Michael G. Waweru, FCCA, FCPA, CBS. – Chairman Non-Executive DirectorM.G. Waweru is a graduate of the University of Nairobi where he attained his Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree. He also holds an MBA degree from the Strathmore Business School. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants (FCCA), Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (FCPA) and a member of the Institute of Directors. An accountant by profession, Mr. Waweru was Managing Partner of Ernst & Young East Africa until 2002. In March 2003, he was appointed to the position of Commissioner General, Kenya Revenue Authority, where he served for 9 years up to February 2002. During the period 2003 to 2006, Mr. Waweru was President of the Commonwealth Association of Tax Administrators (CATA), which brings together Revenue Administrations in the Commonwealth. He has also served as Chairman of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He is currently also chairman of Zamara Group (formerly Alexander Forbes) and KCA University Board of Trustees. |

Paul Muigai - CEOPaul Muigai joined the company on 1st Feb 2017. He has a wealth of experience in Supply Chain management, having held various roles across the Supply Chain in Unilever, including production management, procurement, Operations Planning, Engineering and productivity improvement at various levels up to Supply Chain Director Level. He also held Asia-Africa and Africa & Middle East Regional expatriate roles in the areas of Supply Chain optimization and Safety, Health and Eco-efficiency, based in Singapore and Dubai respectively. Julius Mwatu - FCPA, Non-Executive Director FCPA Julius Mwatu is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the immediate former Chairman of ICPAK. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Secretaries (ICS) and a Member of the Institute of Certified Investment & Financial Analysts (ICIFA). During his tenure at ICPAK, he was also a Council member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and a board member of the Pan-African Federation of Accountants (PAFA). Julius sits in various boards and has vast board experience both locally and internationally, gained from the private sector, public sector, non-profit and donor funded agencies. FCPA Mwatu is the Managing Partner at CPJ & Associates (CPA-K) and has extensive experience in the accountancy profession spanning over 20 years specialising in audit, tax, integrated reporting and governance. He previously worked as an auditor and tax advisor with PKF (EA), Ernst & Young, and KPMG. Julius was also a Chief Finance Officer at Indigo Telecoms for over 10 years. FCPA Mwatu holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Statistics from Egerton University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the United States International University (USIU) Africa.

Peter Kanyago, FCCA, FCPA, EBS Non-Executive DirectorMr. Kanyago is a fellow of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya, and holds an MBA in Industrial Management. As an entrepreneur, he holds directorships in companies he has built, including Pekan Limited and East African Elevator Company (ThyssenKrupp). He is Chairman of Kenya Tea Development Agency and Kenya Open Golf Ltd, a Director at Ecobank Tanzania, Corporate Insurance, Kenya Tea Packers Ltd (KETEPA), Chai Trading and Chinga Tea Factory. His contribution to the nation has been recognized in his being awarded the Moran of the order of the Burning Spear (MBS) and Elder of the order of the Burning Spear (EBS) of the Republic of Kenya. He is also a fellow of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). |

Wanjuki Muchemi CBS, FCI - Non-Executive Director. Mr. Muchemi is a senior legal practitioner with a wealth of experience in International Commercial Law, Arbitration, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Multilateral and Bilateral Finance negotiations. He is the currently serving as a non- Executive Director in the Boards of several listed and private companies. Previously, Mr. Muchemi served as the Solicitor General of the Republic of Kenya and as the Principal Assistant to the Attorney General. During his tenure, he was awarded the Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS) (First Class) by His Excellency, President Mwai Kibaki, for his dedicated service. In addition, he previously served as a Director in several State Corporations as well as at the Centre for Corporate Governance for 10 years. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Strategic Management and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons.) degree from University of Nairobi. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, U.K. (FCI Arb.), Member of The Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (CPS (K)), and The Law Society of Kenya.

Amb. Dennis Awori - Independent Non-Executive DirectorAmb. Dennis Awori earned his BSC with Honors degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Manchester in 1977. He began his career with Cooper Motor Corporation Ltd, and later moved to Motor Mart Group (later Lonrho Motors East Africa) where he rose to the position of Managing Director in 1995. He was later appointed the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya to Japan and during his tenure he spearheaded the establishment of the Kenyan Embassy in Korea, as well as built strong relations between Kenya and the two countries. He currently sits in various boards including Toyota Kenya Limited where he is the Chairman and Bank of Africa. Amb. Awori is a keen sportsman and has been Chairman of both the Kenya Rugby Football Union and the Uganda Rugby Football Union in consecutive terms between 1990 and 1997. |
